THE FANTASTIC 2016 WORLDS OF FLAVOR CONFERENCE

This year’s Conference theme was “On Fire: Culture, Passion, Invention – Europe and the Americas” and truly the many seminars and workshops carried this theme forward in memorable style.

Topics covered included “Developing a Personal Philosophy through Heritage and Training”, “Brazil and the Galapagos: From Sustainable Cooking to Sustaining Communities”, “The Unstoppable Power of Smoke: The Techniques behind Next Generation Barbecue”, and “Treasures of Andalusia from Vegetables to Seafood: A Crossroad of Influences” to name only a few of the outstanding offerings.

One of the Conference’s greatest benefits is the opportunity to speak  in depth with such outstanding chefs and culinary luminaries such as Gabriela Ruiz (Villahermosa, Mexico), Colin King (Jose Andres, Washington DC), Jose Alvarez (La Costa, Spain), Mike Lata (The Ordinary, Charleston SC), Maricel Presilla (Cucharamama and Zafra, NJ), Rick Bayless (Chicago), Elena Arzak (Arzak Restaurant, Spain) , Enrique Olvera (Pujol, eno & Cosme, Mexico) and Pablo Salas (Amaranta, Mexico) and so many other incredibly talented individuals.
